A daily blog could accomplish the same task as a wiki, and it could serve as a communication tool for the parents as well. Students could respond and discuss questions posed by the teacher. This would be an excellent ways to engage students and to assess their knowledge at the same time. Blogs could provide homework assignments, important events, and daily lessons. I am looking forward to using both of these Web 2.0 tools in my classroom. I think the students will become inspired to learn, and I will become inspired to experiment with different types of Web 2.0 tools in the future.
